100% Required For A Full-Size Spare

I purchased a full-size spare for my 2025 R1S before going on a several thousand-mile road trip this summer. Luckily, RiviMods makes the perfect camera relocation kit.

My situation is a bit unique because I have a 22" Sport Dark wheel and stock Pirelli tire. I would imagine most people running a swing out spare setup more than likely have an OEM 20" wheel with an all-terrain tire.

The design of the 22" OEM wheel does not make a flat surface around the center cap which meant modifications had to be made. I reached out to RiviMods and they custom made a different mount and also provided several different spacers.

I dislike leaving reviews because I'm selfish and that's just how I roll - BUT - this company definitely deserves a special shout out for the level of customer service that I experienced.

Communication over email is almost instant. Turnaround time for printing custom parts was overnight. Shipping was superfast, and they were willing to do more if the solution that they shipped to me did not meet my expectations.

Now the camera relocation mount is super secure, and most importantly, I can actually see where I'm going when I go in reverse. Thank you!

Trademark note: RiviMods does not sell a Rivian logo for the camera mount. I filed down the backing on the center cap for the spare and glued it to the kit.

Well worth it!

Easy kit to use and not hard to figure out. Improvements to the guide are coming, but it's almost self explanatory. The extra clips were very handy and this kit also provides a placeholder for the original camera mount position so a hole isn't left after relocating the camera.

Note: the extra spacer is not needed if you're using an OEM wheel.

Push hard to fully seat the camera mount into the wheel center, the tolerance is quite tight.

Try your best to center the camera before and during screwing the camera bracket into the mount, as the screw holes are plastic and will be set basically once you start screwing in. Best to go slow and make sure you do it right.

Even when not 100% centered, the camera view is 99% functional and I'm 100% satisfied with the kit, at this price point, etc.

Thanks for developing this solution for those of us who use a tire swing carrier.
